When even the conservatives notice the long term unemployed, you know something bad is happening:
Minimum wage creates unemployment. Microeconomics 101. It should be the duty of small unions, not the state, to regulate wages if they are too low.
Exactly where do you find small unions? I’ve never seen such a creature.
Actually, Australia, which has the biggest minimum wage, has an unemployment rate of 5.5%, roughly half of the US’s. Your premise is economic ideology 101, never mind the facts.
