Even as a recent paper indicates that the decline of unions is directly related to rising corporate profits, other reports verify the obvious: that there has been no recovery for poor and working class families, even as stock markets soar, though neither the GOP nor the President want to make much of it, for conflicting reasons.
So what is going on?
We are living in the midst of two economies, not existing side by side but on top of one another. While the rich get richer, working class and poor people’s live get more and more difficult as wages stagnate and poverty increases.
We are living in a vast corporate kleptocracy.
