A Common Pascha?

I read recently that Christians in the Holy Land , whether Roman Catholic, Eastern Catholic or Orthodox, have agreed to celebrate Pascha (Easter) according to the Julian calender,with the Orthodox. In the Middle East, as in Eastern Europe, many villages and even families have members of various Christian churches. Conflicting dates for Easter, like this year, when the Orthodox are a full 35 days later than Catholics and Protestants in observing Pascha, creates confusion not only for families and villages on different calendars, but for non-Christians seeing the disunity.

I think it would be a generous gesture for Western Christians and Eastern Catholics in union with the West to simply begin observing the feast according to the Julian calendar that the Orthodox use.
