After a group of Libyans, angry about a film that is disrespectful to Muhammad, attacked the American consul and killed four Americans, including the ambassador. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was quick to respond.
“I condemn in the strongest terms the attack on our mission,” Clinton said in a statement last night. “We are heartbroken by this terrible loss. There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind.”
Which sort of leaves me speechless. I can’t help but wonder what the world would look like if the leaders of the US actually believed that there is never any justification for violent acts.
